What are parrots? Parrots are a diverse group of birds with over 350 different species, and they mostly live in warm, tropical places. You can easily spot them by their bright, colorful feathers and their strong, curved beaks, which they use to crack open seeds and climb branches. They also have special feet with two toes pointing forward and two pointing backward, helping them grip food and perch tightly. Besides their unique looks, parrots are known as some of the smartest birds on Earth. Because they have large brains for their size, they can solve tricky puzzles, use simple tools, and copy human speech and everyday sounds with incredible accuracy.

Subject to availability. Tickets may be purchased at the Retail Desk when you arrive ($14.99 per participant). One ticket allows one person to hold a parrot. Other members of your group may observe, take pictures, and even pose alongside paid participants. Tickets are non-refundable. For ages 5 and older only.
